MAX KRASNOW is an evolutionary cognitive psychologist studying human cooperation, its evolutionary origins and cognitive design. Additional research topics include adaptations for plant food gathering in human spatial cognition, and the development of knowledge about tools. Max Krasnow is currently a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara's Center for Evolutionary Psychology, and will begin as assistant professor of Psychology at Harvard University in the fall of 2013.
