CARLO ROVELLI is a theoretical physicist, working on quantum gravity and on foundations of spacetime physics. He is professor of physics at Aix-Marseille University, in the Centre de Physique Théorique, in Marseille, France, and member of the Intitut Universitaire de France.
He is the author of several books, including There Are Places in the World Where Rules Are Less Important Than Kindness; Helgoland: Making Sense of the Quantum Revolution; Reality Is Not What It Seems: The Journey to Quantum Gravity; Seven Brief Lessons on Physics; The First Scientist: Anaximander and His Legacy; and Quantum Gravity.
