ZIYAD MARAR is President of Global Publishing at SAGE. His academic background is in the philosophy and psychology of language (Exeter and London Universities). In recent years he has focused on supporting the social sciences more generally, and serves on the board of the Campaign for Social Science. He has spoken and written on this theme in various international contexts.
He is the author of four books combining his interests in psychology and philosophy: The Happiness Paradox; Deception; Intimacy: Understanding the Subtle Power of Human Connection; and Judged: The Value of Being Misunderstood.
