MICHAEL HOCHBERG is interested in the drivers of population ecology and evolution in host-parasite and mutualistic associations, and their applications to a range of disciplines, including species biology, infectious disease, cancer progression and treatment, human societies, and progress in science.
Hochberg has co-edited several books and special issues of scientific journals. He is currently Section Head in Population Ecology of the Faculty of 1000, Founding Editor and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Ecology Letters, Co-Founder and Editor in Chief of the Social Evolution Forum, and Director of the Darwinian Evolution of Cancer Consortium.
