Pesetsky

DAVID PESETSKY
is Ferrari P. Ward Professor of Modern Languages and Linguistics at
MIT, and
Margaret MacVicar Faculty Fellow. He has published numerous
articles and books on a variety of topics in linguistics, including
syntax, word-structure and language acquisition. Among his other activities,
he is principal
second violin in the New Philharmonia
Orchestra of Massachusetts, and is currently combining his linguistic
and musical interests with a project on the syntax of tonal music.
