Vera John-Steiner

VERA JOHN-STEINER is Presidential Professor, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM and the author of Notebooks of the Mind: Explorations in thinking , winner of the William James Award, and Creative Collaboration.

Dr. John-Steiner has participated in establishing the interdisciplinary program in Educational Linguistics. Her most recent publications demonstrate her commitment to combine Vygotskian cultural-historical theory and contemporary feminist thinking.
